Blue CSCS Card for Skilled Workers

The Blue CSCS card, also known as the "Skilled Worker" card, is issued by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). It serves as official proof of possessing adequate health and safety competencies along with NVQ Level 2 expertise. Highly valued by construction employers, this card validates one's competence and expertise in the industry.

Cost of a Blue CSCS Card

Procuring a blue CSCS card incurs a fee of £36, exclusively payable through CSCS. To be eligible, you must hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 and successfully complete the CITB health and safety test, commonly referred to as the touch screen test, costing £22.50.

What is the NVQ Level 2 Equivalent to?

NVQ Level 2 is equivalent to achieving five GCSEs at grades A*-C (9-4).

Additionally, other equivalents include a BTEC First Certificate, an Intermediate GNVQ, or any other Level 2 qualification in the UK.
