What the qualification involves

During the qualification, you will complete a range of assessments in your workplace with your assessor. This includes on-site observations, professional discussions, knowledge questions and progress reviews. You will build a portfolio of evidence using the work you carry out on site.

Duration

The qualification typically takes around 4 to 6 months to complete, depending on how quickly you complete the required evidence.

How the qualification is delivered

This is a workplace-based qualification which can be completed on commercial building sites or domestic properties. Your assessor will visit you on site to carry out observations and professional discussions. You will build a portfolio of evidence using the work you complete on site. There is no need to attend college

Funding

This qualification may be fully funded if you are eligible. Funding depends on your age, location and employment status. Please contact us and we will check if you are eligible for funding.

Be currently working in insulation or building treatments

Have at least 2 years’ experience

Be aged 19 or over

Be working on either commercial sites or domestic projects
